Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

TeenHire is built for young people, so we take privacy seriously. This page explains in plain language what information we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Who we are

TeenHire LLC is a company registered in Washington State, United States. We operate the TeenHire website at teenhire.app and the TeenHire mobile application. If you have any question about this policy, email us at teenhireapp@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what the service actually needs to work.

If you are a teen:

If you are a business:

Automatically: basic technical information such as browser type and general device information, used only to keep the service running and secure.

What we do not collect

How we use your information

Who can see your information

Your profile and resume are private by default. An employer can see them only after you apply to their job listing, or if you reply to a message they send you. Other teens cannot see your profile, your applications, your earnings or your savings goals.

We share limited data with service providers that help us operate: Base44 (application hosting and database), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), and Stripe (payment processing for businesses). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect the safety of a young person using our platform.

Teens under 18

TeenHire is designed for people aged 14 to 21. It is not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14.

If you are under 18, we encourage you to review this policy with a parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian believes their child under 14 has created an account, email us at teenhireapp@gmail.com and we will delete the account and its data promptly.

We apply extra restrictions for younger users: job listings are filtered so minors only see roles that are legal for their age under Washington State labor law, including limits on daily and weekly hours during school and non-school weeks.

How long we keep your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, resume, applications, work hours and savings data from our systems. Some records may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten.

Your rights and choices

If you are a resident of Washington State or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, those rights apply to you and we will honor them.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured infrastructure. Access to user data is limited to the people who operate TeenHire. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify affected users if a breach occurs.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app. Continuing to use TeenHire after a change means you accept the updated policy.
